John Pribesh
Founder & Chief Engineering Officer
John is a self-taught full-stack engineer. No computer science degree, no bootcamp — he started building things because he wanted them to exist, and twenty years later that is still the job.
He has led engineering teams across media, healthcare, govtech, and aerospace, and shipped products in collectibles and industrial safety. Those industries have almost nothing in common. The work does. Walk into a business, find the inefficiencies and the patterns underneath them, and fix what is actually broken. He was doing that before he had the technical skill to build the fix.
He founded Devlime Labs in March 2020. Before that he built startups of his own, top to bottom. He knows what a first version has to get right, and what it can safely leave for later. Since then he has built first versions for client startups, alongside the studio's own products: Packaddx, CertifyndABA, ColorBooker, and AlwaysWith.us.
Much of the current work is AI. Adding AI features to existing products, building agents and automation, and helping businesses put AI to use in their own operations. He builds with AI as well, but that is how the work gets done, not what the work is.
When you hire Devlime Labs, John is who you talk to, and he stays hands-on from scoping through delivery. The studio scales to the work through a trusted network of senior engineers he has shipped with before, and AI does what used to take a room. There is no account manager and no handoff to someone junior after the pitch. Everything is built and supported in the United States.

How Devlime Labs
started.
John founded Devlime Labs in March 2020, after years of leading engineering inside other people's companies and building startups of his own. The frustration was always the same: the hardest problems were rarely technical. They came from decisions made several layers away from anyone who understood the system.
So the studio was set up as a think tank rather than a body shop. Every engagement starts by understanding the actual problem. Most businesses treat symptoms instead, or play telephone until the person doing the building has lost sight of why any of it matters. That is where collaboration breaks down and where solutions stop solving anything.
Here the person who understands the problem is the person who builds the answer, so the reason stays attached to the work. Sometimes that points to a rebuild. More often it points to something smaller than the client expected, and saying so is part of the job.
